Quick facts
One-line description
SocialScalr is a LinkedIn outreach automation platform that runs throttled, human-like connection requests, multi-step follow-ups, content scheduling and competitive intelligence inside the user's own browser session - safer than cloud-based alternatives and meaningfully cheaper than enterprise sales engagement platforms.
Longer description (for articles, podcast intros)
SocialScalr is a 2026-launched LinkedIn outreach automation tool built as a Chrome extension rather than a cloud service. The browser-resident architecture means all LinkedIn activity originates from the user's real device and IP - structurally safer than cloud-based competitors because it avoids the datacenter-IP signal that LinkedIn's anti-abuse systems detect. Beyond core outreach, SocialScalr ships a competitive intelligence module (Watchtower), content scheduling, AI-personalised connection notes, and a CRM-style pipeline. Pricing is Free → $29 Starter → $49 Pro → $149 Agency (10 seats), positioning between SMB tools like Octopus CRM and enterprise platforms like Outreach.io. The product is built and operated by WETYR Corp, an independent US company - SocialScalr is not affiliated with LinkedIn.
What makes us different (the angles journalists ask about)
- Browser-extension architecture. Most LinkedIn automation tools moved to cloud over the last 5 years for operational simplicity. We bet the other direction - browser-resident is structurally safer for LinkedIn long-term. The full reasoning.
- Agency pricing math. $149/month for 10 seats is dramatically cheaper than per-account cloud tools (~$80-100/account = $800-1,000 for 10). The economics rewrite agency outbound cost structures.
- Permanent free tier. One of the few in the category. Most competitors are trial-only.
- Open transparency. We publish our customer mix (/customers), competitor comparisons that include where we lose (/alternatives), and architectural deep-dives (/blog).
