Getting started

Install the extension, paste your API token, ship your first campaign. Five minutes from now you'll have outreach running.

1. Sign up and verify your email

Create a free account at socialscalr.com/login?mode=signup. You'll get a confirmation email - click the link to verify, then sign in.

2. Install the Chrome extension

SocialScalr runs inside your own LinkedIn session - no LinkedIn login is ever shared with us. Install from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it to your browser toolbar so the icon is easy to find.

Why an extension? LinkedIn doesn't expose a public API for sending invites. The extension drives your real LinkedIn UI under throttled, human-like timing so the activity looks the same as you doing it by hand.

3. Paste your backend URL + API token

Open Settings & billing in the dashboard. Copy both the Backend URL and API token, then paste them into the extension's Options page.

Your API token is private and unique to your account. Don't share it - anyone with the token can queue actions on your LinkedIn.

4. Set your daily limits

On the same Settings page you'll see sliders for each action type. Stay in the green zone for your first week - that's the conservative zone we've calibrated to keep accounts safe.

5. Create your first campaign

Click "New campaign" on the Campaigns tab. Pick a targeting source (LinkedIn search URL or paste profile URLs), write a personalised connection note using the merge fields, then save.

The extension picks the campaign up on its next heartbeat. You can watch progress in the Activities queue.

6. Hit Run

Open LinkedIn in another tab. Within ~30 seconds the extension picks up the queued action, performs it under your throttle, and reports back to your dashboard.
