What we look at

  1. Hook strength (first 210 chars). Mobile truncates at ~210. The first 2-3 lines determine click-through to "see more".
  2. Total length. 1,200-1,800 chars is the sweet spot. Under 500 punishes on dwell time; over 2,500 has diminishing returns.
  3. External links in body. LinkedIn penalises by 40-60% reach. Move link to first comment.
  4. Hashtag count. 3-5 relevant ones fine. 0 or 10+ both hurt.
  5. Paragraph structure. Short paragraphs (1-3 sentences) read better than walls of text.
  6. "@" mentions. Tagging real people increases reach via their network.
  7. Question presence. Posts with questions get 2x comment rate.
  8. Number specificity. Specific numbers ("4,200 invites") outperform vague ("a lot").
  9. Hype words. "Revolutionary", "game-changer", "absolutely amazing" hurt credibility.
  10. Emoji count. 0-3 fine. 5+ reads cluttered.
